"Chair-ity" Event

The Henry County Arts Council

is hosting a "Chair-ity Event"

at our "Relay for Life."
I am painting a chair in loving

memory of my Uncle, Kenny Johnson

and my Sister-in-law, Jan Babcock.
I loved both of them very much

and miss them dearly.
Our town is on a River,

so I wanted to do something

to relate to the Mighty Maumee.
My chair is called

"On River Time"
(woulda thunk it!)

It has an undercoat of red that

peeks though all the distressing just

in all the right places.
Hope she brings in a pretty penny
at the auction this Friday!
I think we could all use a little
"timeout" on this chair somewhere
near the river.

Blessings~
Leigh Ann
