Around Grandma's table...

I have a client that asked me to update

her Grandmother's French Provincial dining set.We started with a creamy white paint...
then I mixed a custom metallic taupe glaze

and finished with some gold paint in

just a few places.
We finished the top in a medium oak to match their trim and flooring. The chairs were covered with new padding and finished in a taupe satin fabric of my client's choosing.

I think her Grandmother's set turned out beautiful.

I pray the family enjoys many meals around their

set as they remember their Grandma fondly.

Now that is a true heirloom!

Blessings~

Another Christmas Ladder...

Just finished my own Christmas Ladder.... I had decorated my DIL's will we

were visiting over Thanksgiving....
I loved her's so much I
wanted one of my own.
A local handyman
whipped one up for me
in less than 24 hrs.
Thanks Graham!
I used this Subway Art and banner
that I had printed as inspiration.
I am trying to add some
aqua to my Christmas this year.
You can print your own here:
http://eighteen25.blogspot.com/2010/11/christmas-subway-art-banner.html
I painted my ladder a wonderful cream
so it can change it up for other seasons.
I love the whimsy of the whole set of printables.

I am going to enjoy decorating my Ladder
year after year...
I placed it in our Breezeway entry
to welcome our guests!
Christmas Blessings!
