We found a beautiful French country
table set with 6 chairs
not too long ago...
chairs ~ before |
At first I toyed with keeping them natural...
but in the end they ended up
painted my favorite cottage white.
I distressed them lightly and
we sanded down the top and gave it
a fresh coat stain and 4 coats of varnish.
I chose grey chevron for the seats...
This set was going with us
to our booth at the local
Apple-butter Fest.
I am happy to report it was one
of the first things to sell!
Blessings~
Leigh Ann

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Leigh Ann, I'm not surprised the table and chairs were the first thing you sold. If I lived near you I would have bought them as they would look lovely in my kitchen. Sadly, I live too far away in England. I thoroughly enjoyed your post and found you via Savvy Southern Style. I am so glad I did as I have become a new follower. Best Wishes from England...Daphne
ReplyDeleteLooks Fabulous! I'm aching to paint my chairs a buttermilk white, but they have rush seats.
ReplyDeleteI just bought two tables as projects, and this post is cementing my inspiration to stain the top, paint the rest...love it!!!
