We fell in love with this waterfall vanity
with bench and all it's lovely details...
The mirror alone is fabulous... We painted her a cottage white... glazed her with a chocolate glaze, recovered the bench seat, and painted the handles ORB. They are so pretty with their Tortoise Shell centers. This beautiful set didn't even make it to the store, a good friend stopped in for a visit and bought her on the spot! Before I even painted her! :) Love when that happens! Thanks Pat!

Ohhh she is purttty!! Love :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of waterfall style but I will have to say - this one is very pretty! The finish you ended up with is exactly what I want to do on a desk I have. I've never used glaze before but all the pictures I've looked at of glaze on white turns the white a lot darker. How did you keep it so white with just the glaze in the indentions?
ReplyDeleteGlad I found your blog! ~Rachel
What a very sweet set! Your friend must be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteOMG wow! This turned out so awesome and I just love the handles! So pretty :).
ReplyDeleteI have one just like this in the garage and I'm planning to paint it too. Soon as the weather warms up a bit. Yours is lovely.

ReplyDeleteI love those old vanities! I see them at thrift stores a lot. I've always thought they'd be fun to make over. Yours came out great.

ReplyDeleteHi, friend! I'm your newest follower :) You've got so much creativity going on in your blog so can you please share them with us at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop?
ReplyDeleteThis is a combination of linky party (where we can show off our creations) and of blog hop (where we can follow as many excellent
bloggers as we like), hence the name Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop. It's a great way to meet awesome creative bloggers like you and increase your followers in the process.
All you have to do is 1) link up whatever creative post you'd like to share - can be a DIY project, decor, photography, crafts, recipes, poem, thrift finds, tips, or that informative syndicated post that can make us laugh, or cry - in short, whatever you're proud of! 2) Then follow as many blogs as your heart desires, preferably starting first with the one before you and after you, and leave a comment to them that you're doing so.
You’re not required to include the party button but if you’re so inclined to display it in your blog or your post, you’re very much welcome to do so :)
